Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialist | Clinic Owner – Riverbend Chiropractic & Wellness
Hi, I’m Dr. Joseph Tanti, and my mission is simple: help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things you love—without pain holding you back.
I’m a Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialist and a Diplomate of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. In plain English? I specialize in diagnosing and treating muscle, joint, disc, nerve, and tendon problems—the kinds of issues that get in the way of daily life, work, play, and everything in between.
Whether you're dealing with nagging pain that’s been bothering you for months or a more serious injury that’s limiting your quality of life, my job is to figure out what’s going on and help you get back on track. I take an evidence-informed, hands-on approach that’s tailored to your unique situation. Some people need rehab. Some need adjustments. Some need a game plan. I work with what you need.
I’ve been lucky to train at some of the top institutions in Canada. I hold a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and earned my Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I later completed advanced training to become a Fellow of the College of Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialists (Canada) and currently serve on their board. I’m also certified in acupuncture and stay active with professional organizations like the Chiropractic Association of Alberta, Canadian Chiropractic Association, and College of Chiropractors of Alberta.
I’ve worked in big cities, small towns, and everywhere in between—but Edmonton is home now. In 2024, I became the proud owner of Riverbend Chiropractic & Wellness, where our team is committed to helping active families, busy moms, and older adults feel their best.
When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll find me chasing around my young sons, spending time with my (very patient) wife, wrangling our two dogs, or squeezing in a workout when everyone else finally falls asleep. Life is full—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
